Zeke in the octagon.

Zeke recently was invited visit Q-bert's house in San Francisco. He was able to spend one on one time with the grandmaster and learn and expand his scratch vocabulary to the fullest from watching Q in the flesh. These are times spent in the Octagon, meeting new people and exploring the city. Many thanks to Q-bert & the Thud Rumble crew for the hospitality on Zeke's stay.

There are 2 new tracks that feature in the video, one is a collaboration with my drummer astep and the other is a tune I've been working on with Pat from Sugar Army - both hopefully due for release soon.

Naik Live shoot.

Here are some pics from the Naik live shoot the other night. The footage is now being edited and will be posted up in the not too distant future. Thanks to all the crew that helped out on the night. Naik is currently in construction of a new website which will have lots of new goodies up on it when the time comes. Stay posted.

Last Chance lane was recently finished. The crew responsible for the great pieces along the lane are: Ryan Boserio, Timothy Rollin, Creepy, Yok, Daekone, Feck, Ayre and Hosae. We are not sure exactly where this is located if you wanna see it in the flesh.....but you can easily find out from Last Chance when you visit their site right HERE and also check out what else they have been up to. Its all done and now up for FREE, so click the pic link above or the link below and cop yourself some freebies. here are some words on the beatape for KP.

"This little project was just to fuck around with the mpc again without computers, little rule I made for myself was to only use/chop a 16 bar loop or less...or no chopping and using loops for the main melodies/getting the timing right. Was really 10 whole days more like 2 hours or less in the afternoon of 10 days. The beats aren't suppose to sound polished more like if all you had was a tape deck and sampler and thats it. Records only and max 2 records per beat, other then that it was fun geting back to basics between working on other beats, good to keep creativity going to some degree. a few tracks on there came out nice and some had some good ideas but maybe later go back to them and work with a full studio to build. Hopefully anyone that downloads the beatape will get at least one thing out of it....the days starting gettin warmer here so some get a wintery and summer vibe. Fuck it download it and peep for yourself."

It was suppose to be up and ready for download yesterday but we had a couple of problems with the server, but it is all good now and up and ready for download. Hope you enjoy it!

Manor turns 4.

Large cast of likely lads.Our friends at the Manor are having some birthday celebrations this Friday evening to celebrate 4 years in the game. On the night will be many of the djs that have played there on the regular since its humble beginnings, including Zeke and KP (who are playing together B2B for fun/so no large set up just old school throw downs). So there will be plenty reasons to pop down and have a drink, and if you got the special invitation we'll catch ya there earlier for some friendly beverages and boogie. 

We wish the Manor a happy birthday and hope the night flows smoothly!
