Manor turns 4.

Large cast of likely lads.Our friends at the Manor are having some birthday celebrations this Friday evening to celebrate 4 years in the game. On the night will be many of the djs that have played there on the regular since its humble beginnings, including Zeke and KP (who are playing together B2B for fun/so no large set up just old school throw downs). So there will be plenty reasons to pop down and have a drink, and if you got the special invitation we'll catch ya there earlier for some friendly beverages and boogie.

Everyone at Paper Chain has been quite busy lately either in the studio or roughing out new cd/merch designs so believe me in the next few weeks there will be a lot more popping up on this here blog, just let it perculate a little.

We are also up on MIXCLOUD. This will be slightly different to our podcasts, it will be done in a more radio format style, so more or less chit chat and fucken banter, more guests and interviews and things including you. Its something we can more a little more personal and fun, so we hope you get into it and check it out, new episodes will come next week.

Ta-ku & Haz Present: June.

Click the pic and start downloading this massive beatape.Ta-ku & Haz joined forces (on the interwebz) in the beginning of June 2010 with one goal, to make a beat for each day of the month June. That may sound time consuming and creatively rattling to some but this was a good way for the beat heads to exercise their versatility in production and keep them think of ways to out do each other. It was no real contest but i read somewhere that someone got a can of baked beans for their efforts!

June is now gone and we're in July but June is still here in many ways because we have June for you to download and many thanks to the lads that made this because it is also given to you for FREE!!!! That is right, 60 beats in total, 30 from Haz and 30 from Ta-ku all ya got to do is click the big text below and the download will begin. pretty simple! So hope you enjoy it! let the guys know what ya think below in our comments!

In the past we have found a few of our bois beats pop up in some weird places so if ya want to use them or purchase any of them or get them to help on some production. Please let us know! Its better we know where they are at rather then someone pull them off. Thanks!

These dudes love donuts.So besides from eating to many donuts in the studio and developing donuts around there necks as well. The guys have been busy getting prep. together for a mix cd/mixtape/bunch of songs on a fucken cd.

But this post is not about that, they also get bored and Zeke came up with a little invention that will be tested in the streets in the not to distant future. We will let ya know when the two will be doing this so if your about you can come and check it out, it should be pretty funny and awesome at the same time. Can't relly say much more about it but follow there twitter and such to get some info. on when and where this will be at.

If ya don't catch this when it happens there will be a little video on the net, but a little birdy says they might road test this saturday some where.

PAPER CHAIN RADIO #14 comes from ONI CASSH.

I had stumbled across some of Oni's work over the net and found out a bit more on the guy. Some of his mixes/works had fallen into our drop box and started getting bounced around in the office while we are working away. As usual we follow up on things and always appreciate people sending through material. So we thought this would be something ya might enjoy, so its now up on the podcasts. 

So if ya reading this don't hesitate to send material through to us, we always wanna hear new things and like to know what people have been up to. We look forward to hearing what Oni Cassh comes up with in the future. For now hear is some words from him.

Got my hands on some decks in early 09 and after catching a flying lotus show in january have been trying push some slighty more left field beats to perth teeming pool of dustep and dnb heads. I definately love all types of music though and i try and encompass as many styles as i can when i mix. I've pretty much restricted myself to just dj'ing thus far, mostly because i spend all my cash on tunes, but i've been trying my hand at production in the last few months and hopefully will have some tracks for you guys soon
